This collaboration has already yielded impressive results, including a 10% reduction in permanent magnet content without sacrificing manufacturing quality, efficiency, or performance. By blending simulation, machine learning (ML), AI, and motor design expertise, this initiative is set to make waves in the electric vehicle (EV) market, driving system-level optimisation to new heights.

Monumo’s scalable engine, "Anser," capable of evaluating millions of detailed concepts within days, allows for thorough exploration of complex design spaces. This paves the way for the creation of best-in-class electric drives, which Hofer Powertrain can then bring to industrial scale. The application of advanced data-driven ML techniques promises significant gains within the tight timelines of automotive development, streamlining the concept design phase considerably.
