These events aim to unite startups from across the UK to co-develop innovative solutions that address complex challenges faced by both departments. Focused on three key problem areas, the Reverse Pitch provides a platform for startups to pitch their ideas and collaborate with government teams on practical solutions.

Startups across the UK are encouraged to apply for this unique opportunity. The events will take place in person on the following dates:

• 29th October in Leeds
• 30th October in London
• 31st October in Manchester

Post-event, selected startups will have the chance to work with DWP's Innovation Studios in Leeds, London, or Manchester. Over a three-month period, they will refine, build, and test their solutions with guidance and feedback from stakeholders. Applications are now open for this collaboration.

“Reverse Pitch is a fantastic opportunity for industry to work with government to overcome the complex challenges we face, using technology to solve real life problems.”

We can use the latest technology to solve real-life problems for citizens to improve the customer experience. We are already using AI and automation to speed up manual processes and allow our work coaches more time to spend with citizens.
