Giving back on Black Friday and Cyber Monday
Weglot, a website translation software, announced they will be donating 50% of all sales made on Black Friday and Cyber Monday to a number of charities.
Having raised more than €35,000 in 2021 with the same initiative, Weglot again decided to put giving back at the center of its Black Friday and Cyber Monday campaign.
Weglot will not be offering any discounts on either of these traditionally consumer-focused holidays and will instead encourage users thinking of purchasing a Weglot plan to buy on either Black Friday or Cyber Monday to help contribute to their charitable initiative. Current Weglot users can also make a difference by upgrading their plans on either of the days.
The website translation software solution will be focusing its donation on medical aid and cancer research, donating to multiple charities, including Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) and Fondation de France.
Augustin Prot, co-founder and CEO of Weglot said of the initiative, “Having done this for the last two years, we are really proud to again be in a position to support several worthy charities. As a traditionally consumer-focused event, this initiative gives us the chance to give back at a time when it has never been more important.”
