CTA Announces CES Innovation Awards 2026 Honourees

A record-breaking number of submissions showcases global innovation across 36 product categories, including 32% growth in the robotics category.

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)® announces the CES Innovation Awards 2026 honourees, recognising outstanding design and engineering across technology products. The world-renowned program reaches new heights with a record number of product submissions, with over 3600 entries, reflecting the strength of the industry and enthusiasm for innovation.

“This record-breaking year of the CES Innovation Awards program reflects the incredible pace of innovation,” said Gary Shapiro, CEO and Vice Chair, CTA. “Each year, we’re inspired by the creativity and bold thinking of companies that are solving real-world challenges through tech.”

The awards program spans 36 product categories, including five new areas this year: EdTech; Enterprise Tech; Filmmaking & Distribution, in partnership with Cannes Next; Supply & Logistics; and Travel & Tourism. The categories of AI, Digital Health, and Sustainability & Energy received the most submissions, underscoring the role of tech in building a smart, productive and inclusive future. The AI (+29%), robotics (+32%), and drones (+32%) categories had the largest increase in submissions compared to the CES Innovation Awards program in 2025, previewing what type of innovation to expect at CES 2026.

“The new categories were carefully curated and prove how every company is a tech company, from education to supply chain, content creation, and travel,” said Kinsey Fabrizio, President, CTA. “With the significant growth of AI and robotics categories, I can’t wait to see areas of the show like CES Foundry and LVCC North Hall buzz with interesting conversation and tech showcasing real-world use cases.”

A judging panel evaluates submissions in each product category based on innovation, functionality, and design. Judges consist of industry experts, designers, engineers and media. The top-rated products in each category receive the “Best of Innovation” designation.
