BTA Award Winners UK 2024

UK Black Business Show has announced the winners of the Black Tech Achievement Awards 2024, held on Friday, March 15th, at the illustrious JW Marriott Grosvenor House. Sponsored by JP Morgan & Salesforce, this event celebrates excellence and innovation within the Black tech community, recognising outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the industry.

The calibre of this year's nominees was exceptional, prompting the creation of two new categories to showcase even more of the incredible talent present: Young Tech Founders and Impact Leader of the Year.

The winners of the Black Tech Achievement Awards 2024 are:

  • Developer of the Year: Marsha Castello – UK Civil Service
  • Diversity Champion: Pamela Maynard – Avanade
  • Employee of the Year: Rioh Burke-Derby – Avanade
  • Employer of the Year: AVEVA
  • Entrepreneur of the Year: Theo-Lee Houston – SLINGER
  • Fintech Person of the Year: Ayesha Ofori – PROPELLE
  • Impact Leader of the Year: Eneni Abban – Anime and Chill/The Techover Foundation and British Council
  • Innovation Champion: Dupe Burgess – Bloomful
  • Inspirational Woman of the Year: Cynthia Davis – Diversifying Group
  • Lifetime Achievement Award: Dr Rashada Harry – Amazon Web Services & Your Future, Your Ambition
  • Rising Star: Amber Shand – Skyscanner
  • Social Good Award: Mattie Yeta – CGI
  • Young Tech Founders Award: Mya Gooding-Springer – Swapped

In addition to celebrating the winners, organisers of the event encourage individuals to pre-register for the 2025 event to receive information about when nominations open.
