With applications and nominations open until 5th September, the BE100 calls on founders, innovators, and entrepreneurs across the UK and beyond to put their solutions forward for a chance to join the coveted BE100 cohort and pitch live at the Summit this October.

“The BE100 isn’t just about recognising great ideas,” says Guy Hayler, Co-Founder of Blue Earth. “It’s about backing the businesses that can deliver real, measurable impact, and giving them the platform, investment, and partnerships they need to scale.”

A new standard for climate and impact innovation

Now in its third year, all applicants are rigorously assessed against four key criteria: breakthrough innovation, proven or potential environmental impact, commercial viability, and the strength of the team behind the solution. The competition’s open structure welcomes businesses at every stage, from early-stage startups to high-growth scaleups, across three categories: Seed, Growth, and Scale.

From 1,000+ applicants to 3 game-changing winners

Last year, the BE100 attracted over 1,000 applications, spotlighted 100 trailblazing finalists, and helped raise over £20 million in investment for purpose-led businesses including Urban Chain.

A launchpad for lasting impact

Past BE100 alumni also  include some of the UK’s most exciting impact brands and climate innovators, such as Rollr, Library of Things, and Reboxed, proving that commercial success and positive impact can go hand in hand. For 2025, the BE100 is doubling down on its mission to connect solutions with the investment, corporate partnerships, and market awareness they need to thrive.

This year, the 2025 BE100 will once again bring together the world’s most ambitious founders with hundreds of investors, industry leaders, and global media at the iconic Blue Earth Summit in London, 15–16 October.

The top 100 highest-scoring businesses will be named as the 2025 BE100 and invited to the Summit. Thirty finalists, ten in each category, will pitch live for a shot at being crowned one of three BE100 winners, as chosen by both an expert judging panel and a live audience vote.
