BE100 startup winners at Blue Earth Summit 2024

Blue Earth Summit arrived in London in October 2024,  located within a former machinery, manufacturing, and innovation quarter at Woolwich Works.

With multiple stages, talks, pitches and workshops – and a dedicated Marketplace filled with the UK’s finest planet positive innovators – 1,000s of founders, visionaries, and changemakers gathered and connected for the first time with a shared single ambition. To fuel action and ignite real environmental change.

A central pillar for Blue Earth Summit is the BE100 pitch competition. As Europe’s biggest pitch and scale opportunity for green and environmental innovators, the BE100 competition is free and open to business of all sizes. 1,000 planet positive businesses applied – from seed, startups and scaleups covering categories including climate technology, fashion waste, clean energy, biodiversity, air and water.

3 outstanding finalists emerged:

Seed category

Library of Things is a circular economy tech platform and global movement helping businesses, governments and communities to start and grow item sharing libraries – and rewire consumerism 

Growth category

Reboxed is leading the charge in second-hand tech and driving the circular economy for consumer electronics. Its re-commerce platform helps retailers and brands seamlessly launch resale and trade-in.

Scale category

UrbanChain simplifies access to renewable energy for prosumers and ESG-driven corporates through a technology platform promoting sustainability and social responsibility.

Voted for by Blue Earth attendees, each business not only secured the coveted BE100 winner status, but will be supported by the Blue Earth Team to promote their innovations and help them win commercial contracts and new investors.

Blue Earth Summit will return to London between 15 and 17 October 2025 with plans to deliver even greater scale with an action packed schedule of activities in London & cities around the world.

Ahead of the Summit,  Blue Earth Forum returns to London between 4-5 December 2024, driving its own fast growth reputation for connecting over 200 impact investors with 40 sustainable, solution based businesses. More intimate but with the same ambitions, Blue Earth Forum provides a platform for multiple scaleups committed to achieving a healthier planet.
