Artha at CES 2025
At CES 2025, Paige West, Managing Editor at Startups Magazine, interviewed Louis De Veron, Co-Founder of Artha. The pair discussed the unlikely inspiration behind the company that struck whilst skiing, and how the technology works.
Artha has developed a wearable device, comprised of a mini-camera attached to standard glasses, designed to enhance autonomy for visually impaired and blind individuals. The device captures the user's 3D environment and translates it into haptic feedback delivered through a lumbar belt. This tactile representation enables users to perceive their surroundings in real-time, facilitating safer and more confident navigation.
The company's mission is to provide greater autonomy to visually impaired and blind individuals by enabling them to develop a new perception of their environment through its innovative technology.
