Ángeles Moreno is the new Tourism Innovation Global Summit Congress Curator

TIS – Tourism Innovation Summit, the global tourism innovation forum that will take place in Seville, Spain from 18 to 20 October, has just announced Ángeles Moreno as new Tourism Innovation Global Summit Congress Curator.

Moreno takes over from Edgar Weggelaar, who was behind the organisation of the first three editions of the conference.

Ángeles Moreno has extensive experience in the field of business management and event strategy. With a degree in Business Administration and Management with a specialisation in Tourism and an MBA, she is Country Manager of AIM Group Spain, a company specialising in the organisation of conferences and events. Author of the book The Time Is Now and nominated as one of the TOP 100 most influential women leaders in 2020 in Spain, Moreno is the co-creator of the ‘CX Design Playbook’, a methodology to explore business trends and innovation in the field of human centricity and innovation. Now, she joins TIS2023 to lead the content agenda of the conference, which this year plans to bring together more than 400 experts from around the world to drive smarter, more digital, and sustainable tourism.

According to Moreno: “It is an honour to join this project, which in three editions has managed to position itself as a forum for debate and new trends in tourism innovation. I am looking forward to the challenge of contributing to continuing positioning the conference at an international level and generating a space for discussion and knowledge transfer to present success stories, strategies, and solutions that will help boost the tourism industry.”

This year, under the slogan Travel revolution takes off, TIS2023 seeks to boost the competitiveness of the tourism industry through technology and digitalisation. This is why the Tourism Innovation Global Summit will bring together leaders from around the world to analyse and debate the roadmap for the sector at a time when the acceleration of digitalisation, the importance of sustainability, and the new demands of a customer that is increasingly looking for more personalised and unique experiences, are shaping the future of tourism.

For three days, TIS2023 will host more than 150 conferences in six simultaneous auditoriums focused on each segment of the tourism industry: Destinations, Hospitality, Distribution Channels and OTAs, Business Travel, MICE, Transport, Activities or Culture and Leisure Travel. In addition to these vertical forums, the Tourism Innovation Global Summit will once again feature specific content agendas for professional profiles in the industry, so that each professional can find the trends and answers to the challenges they face in their daily work.
