The Entrepreneur Festival, the UK’s national forum for founders, investors, operators, advisors, and policymakers building, scaling, funding, and shaping businesses, announces Simon Squibb’s HelpBnk and Dream as official partners.
The partnership reflects gathering momentum behind The Entrepreneur Festival, which launched in June 2026 and hosts its first annual event in Leeds, from 15-17th June 2027.
Simon and his teams at both HelpBnk and Dream will be there throughout the festival, based in a pavilion next to the dedicated ‘Start Up Stage’. The space will become a live workshop, hosting back-to-back HelpBnk sessions designed to help entrepreneurs build their businesses – live in the room.
Simon is an entrepreneur and investor who has spent his career helping people turn dreams and ideas into businesses. He is the founder of HelpBnk, a free platform and community helping aspiring entrepreneurs start and grow businesses, and author of the Sunday Times bestselling book ‘What’s Your Dream?’.
At 15, Simon was homeless and started his first business – a gardening company – to survive. Three decades later, he has founded over 19 companies and invested in 78+ startups. His last business was an agency in Hong Kong called Fluid, which he successfully sold to PwC for a significant, undisclosed amount.
Simon comments: “Entrepreneurship shouldn’t feel like something reserved for people with money, connections, or a particular background. Everyone can dream, but too many people never start, scale, or exit business successfully because they lack the right support. I’m joining The Entrepreneur Festival because I want to help change that. We need to make entrepreneurial knowledge and mentorship more accessible, so more people feel confident to start and scale in an effective, sustainable way.”
Keith Griffiths, Founder and CEO of The Entrepreneur Festival, adds: “We’re very pleased to have Simon on board. His track record as a successful entrepreneur, and the vast expertise he’s gained from his countless business ventures, speaks volumes. But what particularly attracted me to having Simon join us was what he chose to do after experiencing success in business. Rather than putting his feet up, he invested his time and money into supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs. That commitment cannot be bought, and it aligns perfectly with what we’re trying to achieve with The Entrepreneur Festival, celebrating and supporting entrepreneurship in the UK.”
