So, Startup2Standup was born. The initial peer group membership of start-up founders was joined by some relevant experts and more experienced entrepreneurs. Some of these were starting new ventures, whilst others wanted to share their experience and skills with the founder community.
Startup2Standup members join groups of up to twenty founders and experts. The groups meet weekly online, addressing whatever opportunity, issue or problem their members are facing. This allows members to benefit from a wide range of experience and perspectives, as well as the large range of contacts and partnerships available across the Startup2Standup community. Lonely entrepreneur finds themselves supported, advised, and protected by a community of their peers. A strict confidentiality agreement allows them to share anything with refreshing candour.
As well as the weekly group meetings, members benefit from regular virtual talks and Q&A sessions from relevant business stars and experts. Vibrant WhatsApp and Slack groups allow members to keep in touch between meetings, ask questions and hold other members to account. Someone is always there to warn you against a rash move, or to provide help and support in times of uncertainty. Solutions are generated across the community, everyone learns from each other. Startup2Standup is an ideas and solutions exchange for founders.
Membership of Startup2Standup allows founders to benefit from entirely independent and objective advice. Nobody has an axe to grind. Members just want to gain help and to help each other.
