The two new categories, Artificial Intelligence and SoC/IP/IC Design complement the established embedded award categories; Hardware, Tools, Software, Embedded Vision, Safety & Security und Start-up for the first time this year.

Remarkable: Of the eight winning companies, three are start-ups. “The fact that in both the categories with the greatest number of entries – namely hardware and software – the two winners were start-ups, demonstrates the high level of innovation with which start-ups enrich the embedded industry,” said jury president Prof. Dr.-Ing. Axel Sikora, praising the young companies’ performance.
